The International Missions Director (IMD) of The Church of Pentecost on Monday, 21st October paid a visit to the Stuttgart Area of The Church of Pentecost, Germany. As part of his visit he met with members of the Stuttgart District in an evening service dubbed “A Night with the IMD”.
Speaking on the Topic, “The Gifts of the Holy Spirit”, Apostle Emmanuel Agyemang Bekoe highlighted that, according to the Bible, a false balance is an abomination to God, so it is not surprising that there are nine gifts of the Spirit and also nine fruits of the Spirit.
“The Believer has to be Balanced, and the church has to be balanced. So if a church concentrates only on the Character of Jesus, it will be a good church but the church will also be a boring church” he added.
He further explained that, the fruits of the Spirit display the character of Jesus, while the Gifts display the charisma of Jesus. The IMD revealed that, the gifts of the Spirit must operate under authority, otherwise, it maybe counterfeited by the devil.
“If you don’t operate under authority, you maybe drifting but you won’t know.” He stressed.
He encouraged the members to desire for the various gifts of the Spirit and its operation in the church. Adding that when genuine gifts are exhibited in the church, the fake will not be heard again.
He also advised members not to concentrate on titles, but should at all times concentrate on mantles.
Present at the service were the Area Head and Wife, Apostle Michael Acquaah and Mrs. Ellen Acquaah, All Ministers and some of their wives in the Area, the National Deacon of Germany and the Area Women’s Ministry Leader.
