After an impressive 19 years in the Full Time Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Solomon & Mrs. Kwakye Adom have graciously retired from active service. A retirement service was organised in their honour on Sunday, 18th August, 2024 in Hannover District where he served as the District Pastor from 2019 – 2024.
The service which was officiated by the National Head, Apostle Daniel Ato Eduah was well attended to the Glory of God. Speaking on the theme, “Declaring the praises of God as an unleashed Church“, Apostle Ato Eduah stated that, Praising God is about recounting the goodness of God towards us.
He further explained that, as an Unleashed Church, Giving God the praise he deserves shows that we are not failures, and it also shows that we have hope ahead of us. He encouraged the congregation to work hard, especially when it comes to the work of God. “Don’t be blaming other people for your failures.“ he added.
In a testimony by the General Council, Pastor Kwakye Adom was described as a true man of God who worked tirelessly throughout his 19yrs in ministry. The Hannover District also described him as someone who has an unwavering faith, and has passion for excellence. “His unique qualities, intelligence, and discipline have not only brought joy, peace, and progress but have also left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of all who have had the privilege of knowing him“ they reiterated.
Brief Profile of Pastor Solomon Kwakye Adom (Rtd).
Born on Thursday, 15th January 1959, at Nsuta Atonsu in Asante Mampong, Ghana. He is the beloved son of the late Elder Stephen Kwasi Adom and late Deaconess Janet Ankamah Adom. Pastor Kwakye Adom was brought up in the Church of Pentecost in Koniyaw in Bekwai Ashanti and was baptised by immersion in the year 1972. Following his water baptism, Pastor Kwakye Adom experienced the baptism of the Holy Ghost, an event that deepened his spiritual connection and empowered his ministry.
He was called to the Full Time Ministry in the year 2005 after serving as Field Assistant in 2004 in the then Bremen/Hannover. He was confirmed to full overseer in 2006 and later ordained into the Pastorate in the year 2008. During his 19years in Ministry, Pastor Solomon Kwakye Adom served at the following stations. Berlin District from 2005 – 2010, Saarbrücken District from 2010 – 2016, Mannheim District from 2016 – 2019 and Hannover District from 2019 – 2024.
Present at the service were, the National Head of Czech Republic and his wife, Apostle Jabis & Mrs. Eunice Osei, the wife of the National Head of Hungary, Mrs. Juliana Mensah. Apostle Twumasi Bonah (Rtd), all Ministers and wives in Germany, and Nananom.
